The J. Taylor Finley Middle School spring sports season will begin on Monday, March 28. Students can choose from among the following sports: Softball, baseball, girls’ track and field, girls’ lacrosse, boys’ track and field, boys’ lacrosse and boys’ tennis.
Tryouts will be held the first two or three days of practice. Home and away games and meets will begin on April 11 and will be scheduled throughout each week. The season will conclude on or about June 2.
Students should listen for announcements about team meetings and look for flyers posted around the building. Those interested in participating in the spring sports program need to be cleared by school nurse Kay Khohkar. Students must present proof of a physical exam within the past 12 months and submit a signed interval health history form.

On the first day of tryouts/practice, students should:
1. Be dressed appropriately and ready to participate in their respective sport.
2. Submit to their coach a blue parent permission form signed by both parent/guardian and student.
