Huntington High School’s Latin, French, Italian and Spanish honor societies inducted dozens of new members this past spring before students headed for the exits and summer vacation.
Faculty advisors Kristin Fortunato (Latin), Gina Trigian Molvaut (French), Natalia Kopshti (Italian) and Nadine Araoz (Spanish) and the executive boards of each organization led the new member inductions.
The Latin Honor Society inducted Matthew Armstrong, Andrew Case, Lauren Donaghy, Emily Kustera, Tess Markotsis, Jibreel Murtaza, Dylan Proctor and Angel Uceda-Enamorado.
The Latin Honor Society’s executive board in 2021/22 consisted of co-Presidents Alexis Kaloudis and Grace Colavecchio, Treasurer Lauren Holly, co-Secretaries Caroline O’Rourke and Morgan Colleluori and historian and public relations coordinator Erin Ye.
The French Honor Society inducted Zaida Maria Correal, Ada Cruz Gutierrez, Benjamin Edgar-McNerney, Andrew Ganley, Sofia Gomez Calderon, Kieran Husselbeck, Andrea Mani-Munoz, Danielle Mendikyan, Mia Molina-Baptista, Tyler Wheeler and Anna Bell Young.
The French Honor Society’s executive board in 2021/22 consisted of President Cassidy Casabona, Vice President Mary Grace Rorke, Treasurer Sophie Laserson and Secretary Allie Neber.
The Italian Honor Society inducted Joseph Algieri, Mack Brunner, Erik Flores Reyes, Thomas Girimonti, Damaris Mani-Munoz, Brooke Parks, Estefany Quijada Mojica, Joshua Stephen and Kelly Zelaya.
The Italian Honor Society’s executive board in 2021/22 consisted of President Nathali Ulloa, Vice President Ryan Porzio, Treasurer Adrianna LoScalzo, Secretary Daniela Luca and historian Victoria Befumo.
