The combined Woodhull and Jack Abrams STEM Magnet School drama club’s production of Disney’s High School Musical Jr. is set for Friday, Saturday and Sunday February 11-13 at Huntington High School. Working behind the scenes will be several dozen students which comprise the stage crews for each school’s performances.
The Woodhull School cast will be featured on Friday, February 11 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, February 12 at 2 p.m. The Jack Abrams STEM Magnet School cast will take the stage on Saturday, February 12 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, February 13 at 2 p.m.
The production is under the supervision and direction of Stephanie Shea and Jennifer Szilagy Cove. Chris Deveau and Glenn Deveau are overseeing the two stage crews.
The Woodhull Intermediate School stage crew features Emily Giron, Heidi Quintero, Nina Altarao, Francesca D’Eloia, Noah Garcia, Katherine Van Horn, Emily McCarthy, Patricia Abeuzzo, Franklin Mulvaney, Owen McGaw, Cameron Miller and Caitlin Wegielnik.
The Jack Abrams STEM Magnet School stage crew consists of Paige Falk, Leah Edwards, Jeremiah Lacen, Riley Lewis, Alessandra Bennett, Campbell Arthur, Henry Booth, Paul Grasso, Anthony Naborre, Lyla Monge, Lauren Reed, Mackenzie Conklin, Cameron Northrop, Justin Vujeva, Aaliyah White, Olivia Corcoran, Kevin Harris, Campbell Proctor, Luisa Mackey, Abigail Uvena, Natalie Mullaly, Carlos Fajardo, Noelle Otto, Zachary Vidota, Georgia Keely, Tyler McDiarmid, Hennie England, Steven Lapp, Annabel Cassatto, Ryder Cicciari and Domenico Leotta.
The stage crew members have been busy helping with many aspects of the show that go unnoticed, but which enhance the overall production. From sets, props, lighting and sound to untold other aspects of the show, they are the unsung heroes of every production. Next month’s musical will be no different.
