Woodhull’s Proud Students Include Award Recipients

Woodhull School presented its Eagle Student of the Month Awards

February 8, 2022

Woodhull Intermediate School is filled with proud fourth, fifth and sixth graders. They love their school, teachers and classmates. They are all a happy bunch.

Woodhull Principal Scott Oshrin is equally proud of the students and staff that he leads on a daily basis. Woodhull opened in September 1967 and has been faithfully serving the community ever since. This year’s student body can go toe-to-toe with any of its predecessors.

Mr. Oshrin and faculty members recently took a short timeout from their daily routines to recognized some especially deserving students.

The principal announced the Woodhull Eagle Student of the Month Awards for January. The boys and girls who were honored are an exceptional group of young people. They are all striving to do their best and are working closely with their teachers to have the very best experience possible.

The honorees include:

Fourth grade: Kaiden Garcia Morales, Diana Quintanilla, Litzy Molina, Montserrat Mani-Munoz, Josue Funez Escoto, Khloe Bedell, Manuelle Hernandez-Colon
Fifth grade: Emily Giron, Angel Raymundo Reyes, Angela Chicas Ticas, Sofia Soler, Yostin Vanegas Rauda, Evan Murillo, Alyssa Peck,
Sixth grade: Hanna Boyle, Michelle Calix Pineda, Matison Kindelmann, Andrew Mata, Angela Romero Herrera, Violet Palacios, Alexander Velasquez

The Eagle of the Month assembly was held virtually. Mr. Oshrin presided over the event, which was visible in each classroom. Each of the honorees will have their name printed on stars and hung in the main hallway. The students will also be given certificates.
