Richard Zboray is heading off to Indiana University-Bloomington to study finance and mathematics. The teenager graduated as one of the top members of Huntington High School’s Class of 2022.
An Advanced Placement Scholar with Honor, Mr. Zboray’s academic record is stellar. A member of five separate academic honor societies, he aced just about every course, including many of Huntington’s most demanding and challenging classes.
President of the high school’s debate club, an Eagle Scout and a volunteer firefighter, Mr. Zboray’s resume is quite impressive. He was the chief business officer of the high school robotics team as well as being the CBO of his Virtual Enterprise firm.
The teenager said he believes the key to his success has been discovering what he’s passionate about and then dedicating himself to those passions. Mr. Zboray said he has especially enjoyed “having the opportunity to experiment with many different fields of interest at a high level.”
Like any teenager, Mr. Zboray loves to have fun. But he has a serious side, too. He has discerned his interests well and at Indiana University-Bloomington he will be studying in one of the top programs in the country. Huntington High School teachers as well as his classmates don’t have the slightest doubt that he’s up for such a challenge. They all think that he will thrive in such an atmosphere while surrounded by others who are also striving to excel.
