Brian Sosnowski is an all-around good guy. He’s the kind of young man that anyone would be fortunate to have as a friend or teammate. Teachers loved him and the Huntington High School Class of 2022 member excelled in his studies, earning the distinction of Distinguished Senior.
Mr. Sosnowski is a happy young man. He said the key to his success “is all about balance.” The teenager was able to balance his schoolwork, sports, clubs and a part-time job simultaneously.
The new alum plans to study forensic science at the University of Tampa. He has always been near the top of his class academically and teachers believe he is well positioned for college success.
Meeting new people, making new friends, playing sports and participating in the after school club program were all among the most enjoyable aspects of Mr. Sosnowski’s experience over the past four years.
The recent grad has a sharp intellect, a great sense of humor and a strong work ethic that has helped him excel in everything he has does. Mr. Sosnowski is also considerate of the world atlarge around him. He volunteered with the high school’s Key Club and Habitat for Humanity club chapters and tried to make life better for others.
Mr. Sosnowski wore a Blue Devil varsity boys’ lacrosse uniform with pride. He was among the most skilled and hard-hitting players, contributing to many victories last spring as the team pushed into the playoffs.
“Brian Sosnowski showed a lot growth from last year to this year, said Julian Watts, Blue Devil boys’ varsity lacrosse head coach. “We have a few guys that add depth to our defensive unit and he’s one of them. In our practices, we had some competitive drills where he got the best of our top players and that was fun to watch!”
As he prepares to head off to the University of Tampa, Mr. Sosnowski is excited about college and the future, but he also knows there will always be a welcome mat rolled out for him at Huntington High School.
