If preparation is really everything than no Huntington High School senior planning on attending college following graduation in June 2023 should pass up an opportunity to attend Common Application Boot Camp this month.
One hour sessions are planned for August 16, 17, 18 and 29 from 10-11 a.m. and on August 30 from 1-2 p.m. in the high school library. How much more convenient can college counselor Bernadette Walsh make it?
To allow for as many seniors to take advantage of this program as possible, students are limited to registering for only one workshop Bring a fully charged Chromebook on the day you have selected to attend. Questions can be directed to Mrs. Walsh at bwalsh@hufsd.edu.
“The college office will be assisting our rising seniors with the completion of the Common Application and other institutional applications,” said Jeannette Alomia, director of guidance for Huntington UFSD. “We’re very excited to offer this program to students as they’ll be one step closer to achieving their post-secondary goals before their senior year begins.”
