Woodhull’s Eagles of the Month Honored

Woodhull's March Eagle of the Month student awards have been announced

April 5, 2022

As spring is set to arrive in full force, Woodhull Intermediate School faculty members were thrilled to honor March’s Eagle Student of the Month Award recipients.

The fourth, fifth and sixth graders are all distinguished in their own right, but together form an awesome group of youngsters. Teachers selected them for many different reasons, the most prominent of which is they are all very hard workers.

“We honor and celebrate an exceptional group of students this month,” Principal Scott Oshrin said. “I am so proud of their hard work both inside and outside of the classroom. Congratulations and keep working hard each and every day.”

The honorees include:

Fourth grade: Kristy Moreira, Jordan Thornell, Krystal Hernandez, Gerson Cabrera-Marquez, Lindsey Zilm, Leo Boccuzi, Aidan Silva
Fifth grade: Katherine Van Horn, Nioami Anderson, Andy Vanegas Sanchez, Caitlin Wegielnik, Nathaly Chavez, Aylin Gomez, Matthew Cruz
Sixth grade: Rocco Caruso, Bladimir Cordova Parada, Karen Lopez, Claire Dello-Iacono, Katherine Bautista, Dante Francis, Brayan Ruiz Contreras

The remaining months of the 2022/23 school year are expected to be exciting ones. Woodhull’s field day and family picnic are both scheduled for Friday, June 4. The fifth grade concert is set for Wednesday, June 8 with the sixth grade concert being held the next day, Thursday, June 9. Both concerts will be held in the high school auditorium at 7 p.m. Woodhull’s sixth grade dance will be held on Thursday, June 16. Moving up exercises are slated for Thursday, June 23 at 9:30 a.m.
