The Blue Devil football seniors include Tylill Evans, Josiah Melendez, Lucas Petrizzi, Ryan Porzio, Leo Martinez, Jonathan Moreno, Nicholas Smalling, Jahiem Hawkins, Collin Garcia, Robert Smith, Manuel Aviles, Liam McDonald, John Marziliano, Sergio Velazquez, Jonathan Olivia, Jayden Cyrise, Kaleef Riley, Raseac Caleb, Matthew Minicozzi, John Chirico and Jack O’Brien.
The names of each senior was announced over the Blue Devil Stadium sound system during Saturday’s game against visiting Lindenhurst so the teenagers could take a bow and hear the cheers of their fans.
“These are all great kids,” said Steve Muller, Huntington’s head coach. “They all made contributions and helped us reach the playoffs this year. I would go into battle with them every weekend if I could. They play hard and give us whatever they have. They always have the backs of each other and the coaches, too. It’s been really wonderful working with them all these years. They will certainly be missed. But first we need them to once again play hard as we take on Bellport in the playoffs next weekend.”
