Temperatures are warming daily and Washington Primary School students are getting more excited every day as spring takes root, flowers bloom and trees start to sprout their leaves.
Principal Michelle Richards said she was “thrilled” to announce the names of students who captured coveted Washington Ways Awards for their outstanding work and efforts. When each of the youngsters heard their name ring out over the public address system, they enthusiastically marched down to the lobby outside the main office to receive a colorful certificate that families are sure to show off and cherish.

With certificate in hand, each of the students posed for an individual photo with their mask on. Members of the group were quite proud of their accomplishment.
April’s honorees include Alianis Ciuro, Kayla Muller, Levi Vasquez-Zavala, Luke Navarro, Kendra Estrada Morales, Ashley Jacobo Vazquez, Amy Alvarez Moreno, Fabian Previle, Anna O’Neill, Ariella Cruz Contreras, Samantha Graber, Leo Affa, Matthew Marsala, Gianna Pagano, Austin Roberts, Ayat Baig, Monserrat Garcia Zavala, Jeremy Peraza Diaz, Layne Cranz and David Casey.

“We appreciate the patience and understanding shown by everyone associated with the Washington Primary School community this year as we continue to navigate through unprecedented times,” Dr. Richards said.
