The purpose of the Art Honor Society is to inspire and recognize those students who have a profound love or art and demonstrate creative talent. Members work to promote art in the school, community and internationally through various activities and service projects. They help one another to achieve the highest standards and share the importance of art education throughout the district, the community and beyond.
The organization recently painted The Rock outside the entrance to the Huntington High School campus in a tribute to members of the Class of 2021. The design was inspired by a journal assignment by senior Gabriel Morales Flores, who is taking the course, Advanced Drawing & Painting. His design represents change and growth for the future.
