Julia Steinberg has found just the right place to pursue her academic, career and personal interests. The Huntington High School senior intends to head to Florida for college and she couldn't be more excited about it.
“I plan on studying marketing at the Miami Herbert Business School at the University of Miami,” Ms. Steinberg said. “I chose the university for many reasons, including class size, the beauty of the campus, the weather, sports and the cognates program, which allows me to double or triple major while exploring the areas I am interested in.”

The teenager has earned top grades while playing on the Blue Devil varsity soccer and lacrosse teams and participating in an internship.
“I want to get involved with as many clubs and community service activities as I can,” Ms. Steinberg said. “One of the main clubs I am so excited about joining is the University of Miami Hillel. The Hillel is a student organization for Jewish students who want to give back to their community and participate in many different activities valuing their religion.”
Ms. Steinberg is a bright, energetic and articulate young woman who pursues her goals with determination and a sense of purpose.
“When asked what I will always remember about Huntington and Huntington High School, I think of faculty and friends, but most of all I think of how lucky I was to grow up in such a diverse community,” Ms. Steinberg said. “Diversity was something I was always looking for in a college experience and I am so happy I will be attending a university where diversity is so highly regarded.”
