The Huntington JV team topped North Babylon in a thrilling game, 42-25. The Blue Devil JV is now 2-1 under first year head coach Katie Reilly. Superintendent James W. Polansky was among the crowd that witnessed the second half.
“It was another exciting game at home,” Reilly said. “Jenna Italiano had a breakout game with nine points including a three-point buzzer beater at the end of the third quarter from a cross-court pass by Sophie Carlson. We had eight different players contribute to the score with Jessica Maixner stepping up and scoring on huge plays in the second half.”
