Kianna Criscuola is a bright, caring and exceedingly friendly young woman. The Huntington High School junior is a standout in every way, both in and out of the classroom.
Described by one of her classmates as “super smart,” Ms. Criscuola is well on her way to compiling a superb academic record. But that only scratches the surface of this exceptional teenager. She has a friendly and warm personality and is always willing to lend a hand when needed.
“I’m looking forward to taking Advanced Placement Environmental Science this year, meeting my new teachers and also spending another year with Mrs. [Kristin] Singer in AP Drawing,” Ms. Criscuola said. “I’m also excited to spend more time with Mrs. [Stacey] Byrnes, working as her lab assistant. I’m hoping to be able to do that soon.”
One only needs to speak with Ms. Criscuola for a short time to get a sense of her kind and considerate nature. “Teachers love Kianna because of her very sweet personality,” a classmate said. “She is really hardworking and it shows based on how well she does in school.”
The teenager has a full plate this year with challenging courses and many different out of class activities to keep her busy.
“I’m planning on rejoining school clubs like A World if Difference, Habitat for Humanity, and Environmental Club,” Ms. Criscuola said. “I am looking forward to working with my classmate and friend Teddi Carnesi as well as all the Natural Helpers and creating activities with our friends in Life Skills.”
Ms. Criscuola is energetic and she pursues her passions with enthusiasm. She is an impressive young woman who is a valued friend and prized member of every class she is in.
“I would definitely love to go to a school with a good environmental science program because I’d love to pursue those interests in my career path,” Ms. Criscuola said.
