Ms. Delcid is well on her way to making a mark at the high school, where she has worked closely with teachers and earned their respect. She a very good student and she understands the importance of a well-rounded education. She works hard and she is striving to accomplish a set of goals that is admirable.

“Some courses that I’m looking forward to taking this year are Advanced Placement Psychology with Mr. [Peter] Crugnale, Forensics with Mr. [Michael] Corcoran and Environmental Science with Mrs. [Nancy] Goddard,” Ms. Delcid said. “I’m also a chemistry intern for Mr. [Thomas] Van Bell and I’m really looking forward to learning how to manage a classroom, especially during lab activities and learning some more about chemistry.”

Ms. Delcid plans to play on the Blue Devil varsity field hockey team and get involved in the activities of the high school’s National Honor Society, English Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society chapters. She’s also excited to volunteer with the Key Club and assist that organization as it pursues various community service activities.

“As of right now, I’m looking into Utica College and Binghamton University to major in psychology,” Ms. Delcid said. “I’m hoping to become a psychologist or a chemist depending on what school I end up going to, but I’m leaning more towards psychology.”
