Huntington School Board have approved dozens of after school Huntington High School and J. Taylor Finley Middle School club advisors Hundreds of students participate in the clubs.
Class advisors have also been put in place to work with executive board members for each of the high school’s four grade levels. Academic honor society advisors were also named.
David Moriarty and Danielle Lusardi Raguzin have been appointed to serve as the student government faculty advisors. Amelia Saggese (Class of 2021), Jordan Schessler (Class of 2021), Patricia Avelli (Class of 2022), Donna Nugent (Class of 2022), Cindy Espejo-McGivney (Class of 2023), Alona Regan (Class of 2023), Luigi Papasiderio (Class of 2024) and Shannon Rucky (Class of 2024) have been named class advisors.
Trustees also appointed Suzie Biagi (A World of Difference, Grandfriends, Mock Trial), Lauren Desiderio (Social Issues/History Day), Linda Costello-Roth (Interact Club), Paul Caleca (Career Internship), Paige Furman (Career Internship), Gina Colica (Key Club), Kelly Kaiser (Key Club), Eileen Gonzalez (New World), Keith Mattis (Mathletes), Robert Gilmor III (Natural Helpers, Habitat for Humanity), Dianna Cazzalino (Et Cetera literary magazine), Michael Schwendemann (Drama Club), Debora Balducci (Debate Club)Deborah Beck (Environmental Club), Nicole Cooper (Gay-Straight Alliance, Women’s Empowerment), Amelia Saggesse (Women’s Empowerment) and Rosario Lorenzana (United Amigos).

Principal Brenden Cusack said every student is encouraged to participate in the extracurricular activities program.

Trustees also named Susan Graber (drama club director), Kimberly Finneran (drama club assistant), Amy Hughes (National Junior Honor Society), Keith Miller (student government), Dana Rogan (student government), Jarrad Richeter (Yorker Club) and Angela Whitfield (yearbook) to serve as J. Taylor Finley Middle School club advisors.
Finley Principal Traci Roethel said she expects a large number of Finley students to participate in the extracurricular program.
