The Huntington Booster Club is offering many attractive apparel items.

The Huntington Booster Club’s trailer is a familiar sight at Blue Devil games and school events throughout the year. But the COVID-19 pandemic has forced the trailer to the sidelines, much like the public health crisis has put the brakes on interscholastic athletics play since last March.

Not to worry Blue Devil fans. The Huntington Booster Club has made arrangements for a new online store. It will offer a wide variety of apparel items. Orders placed by November 28 will be ready for pickup at the trailer at Huntington High School prior to the holidays.

Visit https://www.stringitup.com/blue-devils-booster to view the store’s inventory. There is something for every Blue Devil athlete and fan.

Most of the items come in a variety of sizes and many have an assortment of options available to customize the apparel to a person’s individual tastes.

Once an order is placed, the items will be manufactured and delivered to the Huntington Booster Club’s trailer. Customers will be contacted and an appointment date and time will be set for pick-up.

Placing an order by November 28 guarantees delivery prior to the holidays. A portion of the proceeds from each item will go to the Huntington Booster Club to fund its operations and grant program.

Lauren Meagher and Julie Porzio are the coordinators of merchandise sales for the Booster Club. Carolina Addeo is handling merchandise sales for J. Taylor Finley Middle School.

The organization’s executive board also includes Joseph Mattio (president), Ed McGuinness (treasurer), Erik Krisch (marketing/advertising), Maria Carnesi (grant coordinator), Trish Rongo (special events), Patti Weber (special events) and Michele Deegan (membership coordinator/special projects).

Booster Club associate members include Dawn Seitz, Thomas Galvin, Betsy Giamo, Tiffany Annunziata, Sharon Zink, Joe Zink, Al Addeo and Joe Pupillo.

Denise Petrizzi is mentoring intern Nate Deegan, who is a Huntington High School senior. Tim Madden is the summer camp coordinator.

The Huntington Booster Club has been exceptionally effective at supporting Blue Devil sports programs across the district from middle school, JV and varsity teams to summer camps and intramural programs and even unique youth nights. In all, the organization has raised and donated more than $1.2 million to the district over the past decade to support student-athletes on all grade levels.
