Ms. Kehoe is a veteran of the Irish national team. Her recent trip to play at the Asgård Sportshall in Koge, Denmark was her third to Europe this year. She played with Ireland’s under 16 team in the 2019 European Championships in the Faroe Islands and then played last summer in U16 Sardinia Volleyball Challenge in Italy.
Her most recent trip to Køge, which is located in the Copenhagen metropolitan area was packed with tough competition and a delightful dose of culture. “It was an incredible experience to play at the national team level and travel through Europe playing a sport I love,” Ms. Kehoe said.
The teenager is a key player on the Blue Devil varsity volleyball team. Ms. Kehoe’s academic schedule includes an array of honors classes as well as courses in science research and fashion illustration and design.
“I definitely want to play in college; that’s the goal,” Ms. Kehoe said. “I am undecided regarding a college academic major. All I know is that I want to help people or animals in some sort of way.”
Last Friday night, Ms. Kehoe tallied 34 assists in the Blue Devil varsity volleyball team’s five game victory over host Half Hollow Hills East.
