A series of winter concerts in all eight schools within the Huntington UFSD kicked off on Tuesday night when the Huntington High School chorus and orchestras performed for a crowd numbering in the hundreds.
Parents and family members are welcome to attend any of the daytime performances in the four primary school buildings while all of the evening concerts are open to the general public.
No tickets are required for the events. Admission is free. Students across the district has been rehearsing for weeks. The shows should be impressive on every level.
Huntington UFSD’s performing arts program is widely regarded as one of the best in the state. The winter concerts are sure to delight folks of all ages.
The upcoming winter concert schedule features the following performances:
- Thursday, December 12 at 7 p.m. - J. Taylor Finely Finley Middle School at Huntington High School
- Tuesday, December 17 at 10 a.m. - Jefferson Primary School Songfest (Grades K-3)
- Tuesday, December 17 at 7 p.m. - Woodhull Intermediate School/Jack Abrams STEM Magnet School Grade 6 at Huntington High School
- Wednesday, December 18 at 2 p.m. - Southdown Primary School Songfest (Grades K-3)
- Wednesday, December 18 at 7 p.m. - Woodhull Intermediate School/Jack Abrams STEM Magnet School Grade 5 at Huntington High School
- Thursday, December 19 at 10 a.m. – Flower Hill Primary School Songfest (Grades K-3)
- Friday, December 20 at 9:40 a.m. - Washington Primary School Songfest (Grades K-1)
- Friday, December 20 at 10:20 a.m. - Washington Primary School Songfest (Grades 2-3)
