Flower Hill Primary School has named its Stars of the Month for February and the group is distinguished in every possible way.
Principal Lucia Laguarda and Flower Hill’s faculty complimented the youngsters for their work in classrooms, collaboration with classmates, the kindness and respect they show all around the building and for giving their best effort, day in and day out.
The honorees include:
Kindergarten: Kenneth Guardado, Liliana Prada, Brady Weiss
First grade: Blake Schmale, Bradley Burke, Naloine Nieves Morales, Angie-Perlita Ramos Alejandro, Victor Avila Fugon
Second grade: Christopher Breingan, Celia LoPorto, Darphyna Augustin, Vera Andreoni, Elizabeth Pineda Benitez, Jonathan Alvarado-Villatoro
Third grade: Keion Wilkins, Bryanna Chavez Valencia, Shealyn Gilroy, Doris Castillo Molina, Jeiden Gutierrez, Adriana Garcia Cruz, Alessandra Leotta, Daniel Palacios Jimenez
The students were presented with their award certificates by Ms. Laguarda. She announced their names over the building’s public address system and gathered the youngsters together for a commemorative photo.
Teacher Allison Conlon’s third grade class was named the Star Class of the Month Award recipient for its collective all-around performance.
Flower Hill School is a busy place. It is in the midst of its Pick-A-Reading Partner (PARP) initiative, which will wrap-up on Friday.
The next Flower Hill PTA meeting is set for Tuesday, March 26 at 7 p.m. at the school.
