Flower Hill Primary School recently recognized more than two dozen students for their sensational performance throughout the month of April.
Principal Lucia Laguarda presented Start Student Awards to a group of eager children. “These are wonderful boys and girls who have all been cited by their teachers and support staff members for their efforts, cooperation, behavior and outstanding work,” the first year building leader said.
The group sparkled during the awards ceremony. Each was presented with a colorful certificate before posing for a commemorative photograph with Ms. Laguarda.
The honorees include:

First grade: Victoria Creegan, Gracyn Steinert, Maya Schneider, Thania Guardado, Christopher Reyes Cardona, Valentina Diaz Gonzalez
Second grade: Kimberly Hernandez-Pereira, Claire Dello-Iacono, Hayden Cantave, Sophia Curley, Asani Ingram
Third grade: Mickaella Excellent Mesidor, Angeline Joseph, Isabella Goutevenier
Fourth grade: Adriana Nunez Mendez, Ana Raymundo Sarceno, Giovanna Lanfranco, Matthew Ross

There’s an awful lot of fun ahead for Flower Hill’s students. There’s a spring concert at the high school on Tuesday, June 5 at 7:30 p.m.; field day on Friday, June 6; a fourth grade social on Thursday, June 14 at 6 p.m.; third grade celebration on Wednesday, June 20; fourth grade celebration on Thursday, June 21.
