The Huntington varsity is gearing up for what it hopes will be a great season. The team’s returning veterans include Michael Abbondandelo, Nat Amato, Freddie Amato, Sam Bergman, Jaylen Bush, Ryan Buxton, Henry Cartwright, James Duffy, Patrick Durand, Gerard Federici, Ryan Gorecki, Jon Koumas, Luke Luckow, Colby Martin, Christopher Martin, Jordan McCoy, Cole Pillion, Jackson Pitti, Jack Stewart and John Tucker.
Practice officially kicks off on Monday, March 5. Huntington is expected to feature an aggressive style of play. Many players are currently engaged in winter workouts. The program traces its history to 1955 when teacher Donald Loughlin first introduced it to high school students.
