Flower Hill Honors its September Stars
The first month of classes went exceptionally well at Flower Hill Primary School where teachers and students are working hard. Principal Marlon Small is pleased with the progress being made by youngsters on every grade level. He especially enjoyed recognizing a sensational group of boys and girls.
Each month Flower Hill’s teachers present Star Student Awards to recognize those who have especially distinguished themselves. Students take pride in being honored and enjoy receiving congratulations from their classmates and teachers.
Flower Hill’s Stars of the Month for September included kindergarteners Katherine Rivera Reyes, Amani Huq, Mya Mori, Manpreet Kaur and Isabella Rodriquez; first graders Daniela Garcia, Elizabeth Sheran and Noe Palacios Jimenez; second graders Antonio Leotta, Ian Schneider, Dayanna Sierra and Sean Posillico; third graders Luke Calabria, Sophia Kaloudis, Brooke Farasciano, Mayra Aguilar Rivera and Jacob Ward Hateau and fourth graders McKenzie Wallesahuser, Leah Sheran and Markella Markotsis.
“It was exciting to honor these students for the outstanding performance and effort,” Mr. Small said. “Each one of them should be proud as should their parents. Flower Hill School is off to a great start this fall.”
September’s Star students were presented with certificates and assembled for a group photo that will be posted in the main lobby area.
