Washington Students with Perfect Attendance Honored

On the final day of the school year, Washington School Principal Marsha Neville recognized a group of 28 students spanning kindergarten through fourth grade for having perfect attendance this year. Last year, 14 students never missed a day of school.

The youngsters honored include Brandon Anderson, Daniela Aparicio-Garciaguirr, Benjamin Collins, Trevor Cueto, Louis DiFruscio, Matthew Gerardi, Michael Gerardi, Vincent Grassi, Britney Guardado-Valle, Emily Guardado-Valle, Dylan Hayden, Allison Hernandez-Romero, Litzy Hernandez-Romero, Ian Husselbeck, Margaret Imperato, Neil Jean-Baptiste, Samuel Levine, Johnny Menjivar, Eliana Pordes, Stephanie Reyes, Thanya Reyes-Fernandez, Carlos Reyes-Villalta, Manuel Reyes-Villalta, Kevin Sanchez-Saravia, Synclair Taylor, Karen Ulloa-Moya, Alexis Vazquez-Cruz and Javier Vias.

Mrs. Neville read the names of the students over Washington's public address system and presented each of them with a special achievement certificate. "This is a wonderful distinction and shows each child's commitment to their education," Mrs. Neville said. "They obviously love coming to Washington School!"
