Trustees Appoint Finley Club Advisors
The J. Taylor Finley Middle School after-school club program is fully staffed and ready to roll after Huntington School Board members made 16 faculty advisor appointments during a meeting of trustees this past Monday night.
Mark Belton (art club), Dee Weinstock (audio-visual), Jaclyn Ambrosio (school yearbook), Pamela Jacovino (drama director), Jessica Casteneda (assistant drama director), Amy Hughes (honor society), Phyllis Sadusky (honor society), Melanie DeMarco (Mathletes-7), Denise Grodzicki (Mathletes-8 and Math Counts), Elizabeth Grobe (Math Counts), Kimberly Schiller (school newspaper), Angela Long (school store), Frank Battista (student council), Matthew Perlongo (student council) Melissa Jasinski (Yorkers club) and Kimberly Finneran (Yorkers club) have all been approved to work as club advisors.
Finley Principal John Amato said that typically, a "very high percentage" of students participate in Finley's after school activities program.
