Energetic Crowd at Flower Hill's
VIP Night

It doesn't take much to get Flower Hill School students all pumped up. The youngsters seem "game" for just about any activity. Last week's VIP Night did the trick as a large crowd of dads as well as moms, uncles, brothers and even grandparents turned out and worked with their special little someone to build wooden space shuttle models.

Parent Edith Pulizzotto chaired the PTA event. It appeared to be thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. More than 120 Flower Hill students participated along with their carefully chosen "very important person." Many youngsters brought their dad, but others came with other cherished family members.

The family event has become a Flower Hill tradition. "It is always filled with fun and excitement as the kids get to do a craft with their fathers," Mrs. Pulizzotto said. "This year's project was a model space shuttle with a stand. It's great for playing with and displaying."

The students and adults were diligent while working on the project at hand. Once they finished, it was time for refreshments and socializing in the Flower Hill cafeteria.

It seems assured that VIP Night will be around for many more years. "It's an event that always brings out a big crowd," Mrs. Pulizzotto said. "I think the kids really look forward to bringing their dads to school and doing a craft together."
