Blue Devil Lax Fundraiser
at Finnegan's
Supporters of the Huntington High School boys' lacrosse program are hosting a fundraiser at Finnegan's Restaurant at 5 Wall Street in Huntington Village on Sunday, January 29 from 1:30 - 5 p.m.
The event will feature free food and beverages at reduced prices. A donation of $50 payable at the door will be collected. Blue Devil head coach Paul McDermott and members of his staff will be on hand.
Organizers hope to see a large turnout of high school parents, alumni and Huntington lacrosse fans. Participation in the event is limited to those aged 21 and over.
There will also be simultaneous collection of gently used lacrosse equipment for distribution to those financially unable to purchase their own gear.
The Blue Devil boys' lacrosse program has a long tradition and was one of the first high school teams formed on Long Island in the 1950s.
