Audio Recording Room Donation
Will Burton of Fat Nappa Productions, a community recording studio, has donated audio recording equipment and sound proofing materials for use in the Huntington High School video arts program.
The donation, valued at $800, includes a recording microphone, accessories and special sound proofing material that will help complete a new audio recording sound booth that the district's facilities staff members constructed in the video lab. The high school video club contributed funds to purchase furniture and other materials for the booth.
"With this new booth and the generous donation, the video students will be able to record voice-overs uninterrupted by background noise," said Joan R. Fretz, district director of fine and performing arts. "It will also provide opportunities for the music students to make audio/video recording for college."
