Art Honor Society Inducts
New Members

Nine promising young artists were inducted into Huntington High School's art honor society during a ceremony held in the School Heritage Museum last week. The new class swells membership in the organization to 28.

The new members include Nicole Caputo, Jason Chisolm, Francesca Gray, Cindythia Harajono, Kylee Kisel, Amber Linder, Emily McGoldrick, Joshua Toor and Anna Wertheim.

The ceremony included the traditional lighting of candles, knighting and solemn pledge. Faculty advisors Kasmira Mohanty and Kristin Singer spoke along with society President Louis Contino and Director of Fine and Performing Arts Joan R. Fretz.

In addition to Mr. Contino, the group's officers include Aliyah Cohen (vice-president), Marissa Goldstein (secretary) and Dylan Tuozzo (treasurer). Continuing members include Elisabeth Burke, Dante Corrocher, Salvatore Franco, Alexa Giammarino, Sarah Gordon, Richard Gray, Sean Harkins, Cody Jacobs, John Jenne, Connor Leek, Alexandra Martinolich, Tara Narine, Ryan Pavelka, Natasha Siegel and Allison Weiland.

The evening included a performance by Huntington's chamber orchestra under the direction of Lisa Leonardi.
