Hannah Burnett Takes Over

Hannah Burnett is quickly becoming one of Suffolk's top young lacrosse players. The Huntington High School sophomore is an explosive scorer who is capable of taking over a game.

Burnett scored five goals in a 19-12 loss to Hauppauge. Alexis Thompson, Emilie Pugliese and Emma Hayes-Hurley added two goals each, respectively. Hayes-Hurley also contributed an assist. Sarah Ehrman also scored in the game. Goalie Anna Tesoriero stopped 11 shots.

The talented teenager scored six goals and added an assist in a 24-3 victory at Center Moriches. Emma Hayes-Hurley continued her fine play this spring with five goals and two assists. Alexis Thompson notched three goals and added two assists.

The Blue Devils also received offense from Emilie Pugliese, who scored twice and assisted on seven other goals. Sarah Ehrman had three goals and three assists. Stephanie Rafuse (2g, 1a), Katie Healy (1g), Alyssa Amorison (1g, 1a), Colleen Wright (1g, 2a), Diana Harvey (1a), Samantha Dever (1a) also joined contributed to the offensive cause. Anna Tesoriero recorded four saves in goal.
