Trustees Appoint New
PE-Health Teacher

The Huntington School Board has appointed Natalee Rubcewich as a physical education and health teacher. She will work on the elementary grade level.

Ms. Rubcewich holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from SUNY College at Cortland. She earned a BA in physical education in 2004 and a MA in health education in 2006.

Ms. Rubcewich worked as a substitute teacher in Liverpool (Syracuse area) in 2005/06 and was a substitute and leave replacement in South Huntington in 2006/07. She has worked in West Islip for the past three years as a physical education and health teacher.

District officials reviewed ten applications and conducted six interviews prior to recommending Ms. Rubcewich for appointment.
