Finley Club Advisors are Set
The club program at J. Taylor Finley Middle School is close to full-strength with the appointment of a dozen faculty advisors. Several hundred students are expected to participate in program during the 2010/11 school year.
Huntington School Board members appointed Esmeralda Tello (Yorkers), Erica Murphy (school store), Melanie DeMarco (Mathletes-7), Denise Grodzicki (Mathletes-8), Elizabeth Grobe (Mathletes-8), Ayallah Jeddah (art club), Frank Battista (student government), Matthew Perlongo (student government), Dee Weinstock (audio-visual), Phyllis Sadusky (honor society), Kimberly Schiller (newspaper) and Cathy Cain (community club).
Advisors for the drama club and stage crew have yet to be appointed. However, recommendations for those positions are expected to be submitted to trustees soon.
