Blue Devil Boys’ Soccer Alumni Game on May 22

The Huntington High School boys’ soccer program is planning an alumni game on Saturday, May 22 at 10 a.m. on the synthetic turf field at Blue Devils Stadium. Huntington soccer alumni of all ages are invited to participate.
Blue Devil varsity head coach John Pagano has been actively contacting former players and spreading the word about the game. He hopes to reach as many alumni as possible. The game is a way for former Huntington players to revisit their soccer past at the school and reconnect with old friends and teammates.
This will mark the third year for the event, which the coach said is becoming an entrenched tradition. The Blue Devils continue to improve their on-field competitiveness and Pagano is striving to develop one of Suffolk’s elite teams.
Last year alums came from as far as Florida to play in the game. “All of our soccer alumni are welcome,” Pagano said. “It will be great to get everyone together again.” Alumni playing in the game are asked to make a $10 donation to the program.
To participate, former players should contact Pagano at jpagano@hufsd.edu.
