Anti-Bullying Forum
Coming to Huntington

Bullying and how to stop it is an important issue the Huntington School District and its PTA organizations take very seriously.

The Huntington High School and J. Taylor Finley Middle School guidance departments along with the high school Parent-Teacher-Student Association are sponsoring an anti-bullying forum on Wednesday, February 2 from 7-9 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Parents and students in grades 6-12 are encouraged to attend. Admission is free.

Representatives from the Suffolk County Police Computer Crimes Unit will discuss social networking websites and available parental controls, chatting safely online, limiting profile information, cyber bullying, texting and "sexting" and new internet service websites and technology.

Those attending the forum will learn more about keeping young people of all ages safe. Contact Kitty R. Klein (kklein@hufsd.edu), district director of guidance and testing, for more information about the forum.
