NuLife Foods Now on the Menu
There is a new option for students who purchase food in the Huntington High School and J. Taylor Finley Middle School cafeterias. The district's food service program is now offering NuLife foods. The new product line will debut on Friday, October 21.
NuLife offers gluten free, casein free and soy free foods for those with food allergies or sensitivities or people on special diets. The food items are manufactured in NuLife's USDA-inspected, FDA certified manufacturing facility.
Oscar Giraldo, Huntington's food service consultant, said the district will study the popularity of the new option at the secondary level and then determine whether or not to expand it to the elementary buildings.
