Flower Hill Honors ESL Students
Flower Hill Primary School recently honored the eleven students who passed the New York State English as a Second Language Achievement Test (NYSESLAT) last spring. The students' names were announced over the school's public address system and each of the youngsters was given a certificate in recognition of their accomplishment.
The students include Peter Robles, Andrew Barrera-Hernandez, Katherine Paguaga-Torres, Ilya Luna-Mancia, Madelyn Portillo-Diaz, Melanie Hernandez, Harry Poulose, Carolina Moreira-Ibarra, Pablo Aparicio-Ruiz, Ricardo Romero-Cisneros and William Ledezma-Benitez.
Teacher Liane Neumann and Principal Marlon Small joined the eleven youngsters for a photo to commemorate the occasion.
