Flower Hill Honors May Students of the Month
It was another one of those special days at Flower Hill Primary School, the kind where teachers, support staff and Principal Marlon Small make a group of youngsters feel especially proud of what they’ve managed to accomplish. Well, actually, those days are pretty common at a school known for motivating and inspiring young minds.
Still, this was a day of celebration. Flower Hill honored Matthew Colavecchio, Jarmel Baker, Nate Coulter , E.J. Idler, Carolina Moreira, Joshua Silverstein, Charles Forte, Erik Rivera, Jasson Garay-Portillo, Peter Robles, Jeffrey Bunone, Symone Edwards, Cameron Mills, Chase Ordway-Smith, Jake Bastible, Jasmine Taylor, Nikki Jacobus, Quinn Blackburn, Jerry Mata, Tanner Germain, Aidan Forbes and Nicholas Bavaro as the Students of the Month for May.
“This is a great group of hard working and cooperative boys and girls who have been wonderful roles models in their classrooms and around the building,” Mr. Small said. The children were presented with certificates and posed for a photo. It will be added to a display in the main lobby of past award winners.
“We’ve enjoyed another successful year here at Flower Hill,” Mr. Small said. “Congratulations to our students, teachers and staff members and many thanks to all the parents and family members that have supported us throughout the year.”
